An outstanding experience. Avli is one of the best reasons to visit Rethymnon. Our stay exceeded expectations. The hospitality of the staff is outstanding, they are welcoming and they make it feel like visiting family. Situated in the charming streets of the old town, the central location is the place to be. Walking everywhere is possible within minutes. Our room was thoroughly charming and very spacious. Their two restaurants, Avli Fine Dining and Raki Ba Raki offer contrasting experiences of the best of local food. Breakfast in the charming secluded Avli courtyard is a delightful way to start the day. A stay in Crete is enhanced by a car and Avli have parking available two minutes from the hotel in the old town, making for a seamless experience.

Very beautiful room in a historic building, very spacious and impeccably clean. coffee, tea and water always available. The staff were all very professional, close, very welcoming and available for anything we needed. The lounge has an amazing restaurant with different dining rooms, all with impressive decoration and a beautiful garden in between that it is also a cozy and idyllic space for summer and spring. The restaurant staff, where they serve a delicious breakfast, has a 5 stars Service and tasting meals are a unique experience. Located in the best part of Rethymno down town in a beautiful historic city. Colours were something that Impress us a lot and the hotel new how to use them in a very apropriate way.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant courtyard which had incredible gardens. Our host Nicholas was so helpful & accommodating. Without hesitation he helped us out with last minute car hire, at a price my previous research could not beat. Even arranged free transport to the hire car company, as we had large bags. Service & experience was faultless.

Complimentary welcome drinks and snacks, a room upgrade and a lovely gift as we left - wow. The rooms are stunning and super comfortable, the restaurant courtyard is an absolute delight and the hotel is in the heart of beautiful Rethymno. Really - the nicest place to stay ever! We would absolutely love to return.
